Our Terms & Conditions

1-All prices include unlimited mileage, CDW (carries an excess), government tax (IVA)  airport delivery and collection from 08.00hrs to 22.00hrs. 24hr breakdown service details will be provided by the hire company with your rental contract. A free 4 hour window from arrival to return. Fully comprehensive Insurance with excess. Copies of  passports & driver’s licence for all drivers are required at time of booking. 

2-Excludes: Supplement to cover the excess to Collision Damage Waiver, petrol, traffic fines and violations. Also excludes damage to wheels/tyres, windows, lost or damaged keys, cigarette burns, cracked wing mirrors, inadequate re fuelling. Personal accident insurance –(advised). Arrivals after 22.00hrs and before 08.00hrs  have a late/early supplement of 20 to 25 euros which is paid on arrival to the  representative from Autos Navarro. 

3-Baby and child seats: First baby/child seat is charged at 20 euros, thereafter  additional seats are free, this can be paid locally in euros when you meet the  representative or can be charged to the credit card provided. 

4-Credit card: Please note that this is NOT for a deposit, it is a guarantee for payment  in the event of parking fines, traffic violations and missing fuel etc. If your card  number has not been provided prior to your departure you will be asked for this by  the representative on arrival. 

5-Collison Damage Excess: QUOTED IN EUROS ACCORDING TO THE CAR GROUP AS  FOLLOWS: GROUP A /B = 500 euro, GROUP AD/C = 550 euro, GROUP BA/D =600 euro,  GROUP CA/DA 650 euro, GROUP E/F = 700 euro, GROUP EA/FA 700 euro, GROUP J (9  SEATS) = 800 euro. 

6-Optional Supplemental Collision damage waiver: PRICES QUOTED IN EUROS PER DAY  ACCORDING TO CAR GROUP AS FOLOWS: GROUP A = 8 euro, Group AD/B = 9 euro,  GROUP BA/C/CA = 10 euro, GROUP D/ DA/E/EA = 12 euro, GROUP F, FA (7 SEATS) =  14 euro, GROUP J (9 SEATS) = 16 euro. This is payable locally upon collection of your  car. Excludes damage to wheels, lost or damaged keys, cigarette burns, cracked wing mirrors, inadequate re fuelling. Personal accident insurance –(advised). 

7-Drivers must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of three years and must  be 25 years and over. Maximum of two named drivers are allowed per booking,  thereafter, an additional charge of 20 euros for additional drivers will be charged. 

8-Car delivery/collection service: Deliveries/collections will incur an additional charge  of 70 euros paid direct to the representative of Autos Navarro and this service is  offered Monday to Friday from 10.00hrs until 14.00hrs. If you are arriving at Malaga  Train Station “Maria Zambrano” you will be met at the arrival lounge. A supplement  of £15.00 for a one-way service and £20 for a return service will be added.

9-Malaga Airport: You will be met in the arrival’s hall (do not go downstairs) by a representative from Autos Navarro who will be holding a sign with your name.  PLEASE NOTE THAT SINCE COVID 19 AND SOCIAL DISTANCING YOUR REPRESENTATIVE  MIGHT BE WAITING OUTSIDE OF THE DOORS. 

10-Upon collection of the car the hirer will be asked to sign the hire companies hire  agreement which makes the rental the subject of a direct contract between the  hirer and the hire company. The hirer will also have to pay for any extras that he/she  may have requested: i.e GPS or Excess Waiver, baby/child seats and additional  drivers if not paid in advance by credit card. If not provided at the time of booking  you will have to provide passport & drivers licence details of each driver. 

11-Payment in full by cleared funds either by cheque or bank transfer is required prior to  departure. Non payment could result in the cancellation of your booking. 

12-Cancellations/Amendments: All cancellations and any amendments to your  booking are free up to 24hrs prior to arrival of your car hire. 

13-Extension of hire – Please contact Paragon Rentacar if you require extended hire or  amendments to your booking. 

14-GPS is available at 5 euros per day and is payable locally upon collection of your  car.  

14-Fuel: We ask that you return the car with the same amount of fuel that is supplied at  the start of your rental and missing fuel will be charged for. 

16-Cars are supplied according to groups, but we do our best to supply the car of your  choice within that group, minimum 3 day rental charge. 

17-Accidents: You will be provided with an accident report form along with your car  documents at point of collection. Please call the police and report any incident  within 24 hours to info@autosnavarro.es or telephone

Paragon Rentacar VAT No. 448872893 cannot accept liability for any injury, sickness, loss,  damage, inconvenience, additional expense directly or indirectly caused by alterations of  times, schedules, cancellations or any default of any company or firm.

1.-The leased vehicle is only authorised to drive through the AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY OF ANDALUSIA AND GIBRALTAR. The insurance will not be effective if the driver drives under the effects of alcohol, drugs or contraindicated medication and all damages will be the driver’s
responsibility.

2.-The rental rates include the compulsory insurance coverage of the vehicle and the
supplementary civil liability for damages against third parties derived from the use and circulation of vehicles, with an excess in the case of cargo vans (a deposit equal in value to that excess must be made with a credit card).

3.-This coverage is guaranteed by the insurance company with which the lessor has arranged the corresponding insurance policy and is subject to that agreement in the general and particular conditions thereof. This policy does not cover damages, loss or any other damage suffered by the luggage, goods or personal belongings transported in the vehicle, nor the total or partial damage of these elements in the vehicle due to theft and/or vandalism and/or traffic accidents.

4.-It is not covered in any case the damages caused in the undersides of the vehicle, nor the rims or tires, whatever their type, when caused by overloading the vehicle above the legal limits stated in the vehicle’s registration certificate (and/or in the technical datasheet of the vehicle) or by driving on inappropriate surfaces, such as beaches, poor roads, forest or mountain roads, etc. which are not recognised as authorised, paved roads. Any damage to tyres, wheels and car keys is not covered either.

5.-The lessee is obliged to communicate to ESPACAR any accident or damaged suffered by the vehicle within a maximum period of 24 hours, as well as take any necessary action within one’s abilities to avoid further damages, responding to any delays that could impede fulfilling this obligation.

6.-The lessee must refuel the vehicle with the appropriate fuel that is suitable for the vehicle. If the lessee fails to do so, he/she will be held accountable for the expenses incurred in the transfer of the vehicle and the repair of damages that may have been caused due to the use of inappropriate fuel.

7.-The lessee agrees not to carry more passengers in the vehicle than those corresponding to the seats provided in the vehicle, nor to take part in races or other competitions with the vehicle. It is also forbidden the sublease of the car or the transport of people with an economic compensation. It is agreed that the lessee is solely responsible for the penalties for any breach of the Circulation Code or breach of other ordinances, also responding to subsequent consequences of the same origin.

8.-The lessee must have a driver’s license that is at least two years old and must be at least 25 years old.

9.-The lessee will be held accountable for any legal and extrajudicial expenses, including counsel and right of attorney bill, caused by any claim or breach of this contract. This contract takes effect from the time and date stated on the first page of the contract and is signed as proof of accordance, agreeing that any disputes that may arise will be settled by and submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of the city of ESTEPONA.

10.-The lessee is responsible for returning the vehicle at the time, date and location indicated in the contract. If not, the insurance coverage will be invalidated and the lessor may incur a possible misappropriation in accordance with what is established in the Article 535 of the Penal Code.

Prices do NOT include:

  • Damage to: Tyres/Wheels, clutch and gear box, missing or damage car keys, inadequate refueling, vehicle interiors, glasses, underside.
  • Dirtying the inside of the vehicle beyond what would be expected from reasonable and careful use. If the returned vehicle may need an extra special cleaning NavarroAutos reserves the right to charge and extra fee from € 50,00 (depending how dirty the car is).
  • Cars must be returned with the same level of fuel that was provided at the start of the hire, missing fuel will be charged for.
  • Baby seats/child booster seats are available for a one-off payment of €20.00 (1, 2 or 3) , G.P.S.
  • For an additional fee, cars can be delivered and collected within the Costa Del Sol. Please ask for a quote.
  • Cross Bordering/Territorial Restrictions: Vehicles are not allowed to be taken outside of Spanish borders.

Payment Conditions

Payment via bank transfer to our UK bank is required prior to departure.  Punctures, breakage (total or partial) of rims and tyres will be charged to the renter, windows, as will the loss of vehicle keys, refuelling mistakes and damage to the under carriage.

General Terms & Conditions

1. USE OF VEHICLE

It is strictly prohibited with possible loss of all rights:

  • Drivers not authorised by the car hire company.
  • Participation in races or contest of any kind, or use the vehicle to push or tow other vehicles.
  • Use the vehicle for the transportation of goods or carry more passengers that those specified by vehicle’s manufacture or permitted by law.
  • Drive the vehicle under alcohol or drugs influence.

2. RENTAL CHARGES

Client agrees to pay total agreed on the voucher confirmation. Costs of any damage caused by negligent driving, off-road driving, any tow service or extra derived from those. Punctures or any damage caused to tyres/wheels or undercarriage. Driving mirrors and glasses are not covered either. Missing tools, jack tyres, missing or damaged car keys. Misfuelling or any breakdown derived from that is not covered by the insurance.

2.1 TRAFFIC FINES: Are not included in any case. Client is responsible for all violations, fines, toll charges and/or citations incurred during the rental period. 

In the event of a fine being issued there, an administration fee of 30 euro charged to the client.

3. RETURNING OF THE VEHICLE

The vehicle will be returned at the place, date and time stated in this agreement. Any change should be advised and authorise by Paragon Rentacar.  Paragon Rentacar is fully authorised to cancel this agreement at any moment when may exist suspicion that the client is involved or using the vehicle in any illegal activities or if there is any doubt about his solvency. The contract establishes the rental period and if the rental car is returned before the end of this period.

3.1 RENTAL PERIOD: All rentals are charged on a 24 hour basis. There is a 4-hour grace period of four hours from arrival to car return, if timings fall over the 4 hours and extra day could be charged 3.2 There is not refund for early returns.

4. INSURANCE, RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCIDENTS

Only drivers stated on the car rental agreement are entitled to the status of being assured. The civil responsibility of the client with respect to the damages caused to the vehicle in case of fire and theft is totally covered and partially in case of an accident with an insurance excess according to the current rates. 4.1 The number of days in which the car is immobilized and can’t be used due to any damage caused by negligence or bad used are not covered by the insurance. 4.2  Accidents must be reported within 24 hours. 

5. JURISDICTION:

In case of any kind of disagreement between the client and the car hire company in the interpretation of this terms and conditions regardless of the nationality of the client, it will be subject to the Court of Malaga and under Spanish laws.

6. BREACH OF CONTRACT:

Please, be advised that when breaching the car rental agreement (terms & conditions) you will be charged £ 120.00 on the credit card stated in the agreement.
